Gomo Gallery presents carefully selected shona sculptures from 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Zimbabwean artists. Shona sculpture became a major contemporary art movement in the 1950's and blossomed into an internationally acclaimed hallmark of Zimbabwean art developing its unique style and spirituality.
This site remains dedicated to the support and encouragement of Shona sculpture, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy the beauty and spirituality of the individual pieces that have all been fastidiously selected over many years.
